Why is this photo important? First of all it establishes that Boris Korczak, at the very least, had CIA contacts dating back to the late 1970's. This counters the claims the CIA implied that they had never heard of Boris korczak. Naturally these claims were made by the agency after Korczak was already exposed and attemtping to collect on the contractual obligations the CIA had made to him. This site claims that William Lofgren was a liar. In an audio recording that will be forthcoming Lofgren claims to be a friend. Yet his silence was deafening when Korczak needed "a friend" who knew the truth. It wouldn't be a streach of the imagination to say that Lofgren was only a "friend" as long as Korczak was providing him with "gifts" so that Lofgren could expedite the proccess of bringing Korczak in, out of the cold.
